For Cold Foods: Place salt crystal tray in the refrigerator for one hour to chill. The tray will retain its temperature for 2-3 hours. Once chilled you can serve salads, fruits, vegetables, sushi and desserts right on the salt slab!

For Hot Foods: Place salt tray on your gas stovetop or grill & heat it slowly until it reaches 350 degrees. Once the tile is hot, place your food on the tile; the tile will cook, sear, and season your steak, lamb, fish, shrimp, etc. at the same time. *Be sure to heat your salt tray slowly to avoid cracking, however it is common for the tile to make "cracking" "crackling" or "popping" noises as is heats up.

To Clean: Simply wipe the salt tile with a moist towel & allow to dry before re-using. No additional cleaning is required, since the salt tile is antiseptic and antibacterial. The salt tile can be used many times over and over, however it will eventually "melt" away over time; you can break up the remaining salt & grind or shave it onto your food.
